Actually, the steamer means freedom.
The freedom to enjoy a smoke anytime and anywhere.
The steamer is an electronic cigarette (or E-cigarette, E-ziggy, Vaporisator). With an electronic cigarette, i.e. with the steamer, you can smoke or rather, steam, at any place and any time. The steamer does not contain plant materials (tobacco) that smoulders or burns, but a liquid enriched with nicotine that vaporises and is inhaled as with a normal cigarette. This technology makes it possible to steam anywhere: In restaurants, public areas, trains, planes, etc.
What precisely is the Dampfer®?
The steamer is an electronic cigarette.
It has two parts
- A microchip-controlled rechargeable battery
- A storage capsule with nicotine and vaporiser
Screwed together, the steamer results.
The steamer's handling, feel and use are similar to smoking. It is supposed to enable smokers to enjoy smoking anywhere and anytime. Because the Dampfer® (steamer) vaporises a liquid consisting of nicotine and propylene glycol (food alcohol) with a vaporiser coil, the user does not consume any hazardous substances similar to smoking.
Even more important, the exhaled vapour consists almost exclusively of vapour, with very low traces of nicotine and is completely odourless. Thus, persons in the smoker's proximity are not impaired by smell or substances hazardous to health!
How is the Dampfer® built technically?
The larger part of the steamer consists of the control chip and the battery. Drawing on the steamer activates the battery via the microchip, which then sends power to the biz. The biz is the steamer's heart. It contains the combustion module and liquid tank. The vaporiser glows from the power supplied by the battery; parts of the liquid are thus vaporised to mist (aerosol). This carrier medium is inhaled like tobacco smoke and takes the nicotine into the body.
What do I have to observe as a smoker when I use the Dampfer®?
Because the steamer does not show how long and how much you have already steamed, you should observe the number of times you inhale in the beginning. A conventional tobacco cigarette usually lasts for 12 to 14 drafts.
We therefore also recommend 12-14 drafts per steaming. Initially, smokers will be surprised when they see the nicotine volume in the steamer. One biz contains 16 mg nicotine. Because a biz corresponds to 20-30 cigarettes (depending on draft intensity), this is approx. 0.8 mg of nicotine when converted into conventional cigarettes. Since the volume depends on draft intensity, the steamer can be used by any smoker type (light, medium, normal). To extend battery duration, the biz can be easily separated from the battery after each steaming session!
What do I have to generally observe about the Dampfer®?
There are some small things that must be observed for best use of the Dampfer®:
- An activated biz should be used up within two weeks for best enjoyment.
- Biz are best stored with the thread down. Otherwise, small amounts of liquid may escape from the opening. This has no negative consequences, except that liquid can collect at the mouth piece.
- Be aware that the biz and the liquid in them contains nicotine. Therefore, keep the biz out of the read of small children. Just as you would a normal cigarette.
- In contrast to other manufacturers, we do not consider our steamer a "healthy" alternative to smoking or a way of quitting! The steamer is an alternative to traditional cigarettes without the legal limitations and the high amount of harmful additives.
This is not the case with the steamer.
In contrast to other manufacturers, whose e-cigarettes tend to look like ball-point pens and may even be packed in ugly transparent plastic, the steamer has a beautiful shape and is packed in the way smokers are used to. In addition to the attractive appearance, it also offers a practical advantage. The refill packs, the so-called Dampfer Biz, are packed in the same manner as the Starter Kit. This will give you a new place to store your "steamer utensils" instead of having to handle a plethora of small parts. We also set new standards in matters of price. At 25 Euro for a steamer Starter Kit, we are clearly below the prices of other manufacturers, who charge between 40 and 120 Euros.
